Bangaon Regional Water Supply Scheme, created for 48 villages of Amgaon assembly segment, is frequently closed. This scheme is often closed due to failure of payment of electricity bill, and sometimes due to failure of electricity system or sometimes pipeline. Since many village faucet holders are not paying the bills, this scheme is implemented for 32 villages today.
28 villages in Amgaon taluka and four villages of Salekasa taluka get water from this scheme. Last four days earlier, the purification machine was installed on this tube. The electricity supply of the purification machinery was interrupted. 1100 kV of electricity was supplied at Telitola. The connection of the 1100 KV line to the meter was brought. But 440 KV line was transferred to Transformer at 30 meters distance. Line leaders got the line from the electricity distribution company by digging the cable in the soil. But four days back, the cable was disconnected and water supply was stopped in the water purification center. As a result, the water supply to these 32 villages has been blocked. In this connection, the Water Supply Department officials asked the officials of the Electricity Department to start the supply of electricity. But it is our job to provide light to the customer’s meter. Officials of the Electricity Department have said that the light was coming from a customer’s meter. The electricity company is about to convert 1100 kV power into 440 kV of electricity. The officials of the water supply department say this. Water Supply and Electricity Department officials have taken the role that ‘work’ is not ours.
Therefore, in the dispute between two departments, two thousand families are deprived of water. In this regard water supply committee convener Jagdish Sharma, BJP activist Raju Patle and social workers came in. Sanjay Pouram brought the picture to the notice. Puram instructed the officials of both the departments to take a call on them and work them. After that, the work of connecting the electricity connection was started.
