This bridge was continued for transportation because of increased pressure on the railway department and the district administration. The height of both sides of the bridge was raised in order to prevent tilts from reaching this bridge. District Magistrate, Dr. Kambambri Balakwade directed the Public Works Department to fix the width of the height.
However, for the last two months, the Public Works Department did not apply the width on both sides. As a result, the traffic of other vehicles, except for big jawans, is continuing on the old flyover.
So, if there is an accident in the bridge, the question is asked who will be responsible for it.
Only allow two wheelers and autos
The administration had decided to allow only auto and two-wheelers from the old flyover in the city. But the picture is not being implemented yet. Police of the Traffic Control Department is performing duties on both sides of the bridge, while other than the auto and two wheelers in front of their eyes are running. However, the action is being taken to avoid the action.
Structural Audit Forget
Considering the problem of the old bridle’s flyover, the decision was taken two months ago for the structural audit of the bridge under the Railway Department and the Public Sector.
