Plastic banquets and thermocol materials are being used in the city even after the plastic ban was imposed. Considering this fact, the team of the Municipal Council launched a campaign on Monday (Dec 1) suddenly.
In this drive, the squad inspected the Agarwal Plastik, Sai Bhagat Sales, India Boot House, Satlal Agarwal, Venkateswara Disposal and Vaishali Raj Purohit, in the city. At the time, the traders got plastic bags and thermocol material from the traders and the penalty was given to the traders by a penalty of Rs 5,000 each. The team seized 6 kg of material from plastic bags and thermocoula material from the traders by paying fine of 30 thousand rupees.
The team included Engineers Umesh Shende, Sumedh Khaparde, Devendra Waghai, Lipik Praveen Gadade, Shiv Hukre, Health Inspector Manish Barisal, Mukesh Shendre, Praful Pantawane, Sumit Shendre, Rohidas Bhwigade, the councilors.
