Navegaon-national-park
Navegaon National Park is one of the most beautiful and ecologically rich protected areas in Maharashtra, located in the Gondia district. Spread across dense forests, rolling hills, and a large scenic lake, the park is part of the larger Navegaon–Nagzira Tiger Reserve landscape.

History
Navegaon has a long conservation history. The area was once a private forest owned by local rulers and was later developed into a protected area to preserve its rich biodiversity.
It was officially declared a National Park in 1975, helping protect its unique forest ecosystem, wildlife species, and wetland habitats.
Today, it plays a key role in wildlife conservation in eastern Maharashtra.
